Lots of new fabrics have arrived in the last couple weeks. I don’t seem to be very good a getting a picture taken and posted. New from Michael Miller is part of their Flora and Fauna line. Part of which is shown here.
From RJR we have Caterwauling. I took a picture of the stripe and the very cute black & white kitties. We also have the panel to this line. 
I will try to get more pictures taken tomorrow as we have also received the new panel and coordinates from Nancy Halvorsen of Art to Heart. Her new line is called “Garden Song”.
From Moda the new Holly Taylor line called “Lakeside Resort” has arrived.
Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs is posting a snowman block of the month called “Snowbound” on her blog at http://bunnyhillblog.com Click on the FREE button at the top of her blog to go to the pattern. She is using “Rural Jardin” fabrics for the quilt. This is a line of fabrics from Moda and I have ordered the fabrics she is using for the background and chain blocks as well as layer cakes (10 inch squares) and charm packs (5 inch squares) of this line. The fabrics are expected in March.
The Hop To It Block of the Month meeting is once again cancelled due to snow and ice. We will meet on the 4th Thursday of February as scheduled at 7 pm. The fabric kits for block 1 and 2 will be available that night.
The Hop To It Block of the Month meeting for tonight is cancelled due to inclement weather. The first meeting for this block of the month will be held next Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 pm at Pandy’s Quilt store.
The Hop To It Block of the Month from the book of the same name starts this Thursday evening, weather permitting. This Block of the month is fusible applique or you may do it turned edge if you wish. There is still time and space available to sign up for this program.

This fabric would make a great quilt or pillowcases for your Rocket Scientist or scientist-in-training.
Nature’s Notebook from April Cornell, a lovely collection of blue and yellows, also arrived along with charm packs and jelly rolls.

The 50% off Christmas fabric continues through Saturday.
The Shakespeare in the Park Quilt-a-long starts Tuesday the 19th. There is still space available and more information at the Block of the Month page.
The “Sale Fabrics” located in the back room are on sale. If you buy all that’s on the bolt they are $2.50 yd. Normal sale price is $4 or $4.50/ yd. Sale will be on for a week or two depending on how fast the shelves get cleared.
Valentine jelly rolls and charm packs. Jelly rolls ($35) contain 40 strips that are 2 1/2 inches wide by the width of fabric. Charm packs($8) contain 40 five inch squares.
